Dr. Mohamed Hemida works in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and applied linguistics, with a particular interest in designing Arabic curricula for specific purposes and developing educational programs that address the needs of learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Throughout his academic career, he has combined scholarly research with practical work in teacher training and curriculum development, seeking to promote modern educational approaches that make learning Arabic a more effective and meaningful experience. My professional journey combines academic teaching, institutional training, and educational development, including:
I chose Arabic education for non-native speakers because I noticed that many learners study Arabic for years without gaining real confidence in using it. This shaped my central question: How can we transform Arabic learning from a subject into a meaningful practice? Curriculum design and teacher training became my most effective path to create this transformation.
